City and County Lookup
Enter a U.S. city and choose its state to see every ZIP code in the city and the county each one is in.
Why look up a city’s ZIP codes
A large city can span dozens of ZIP codes, and a freight rate is priced to the ZIP code, not the city. A pickup on one side of town and a delivery on the other can fall in different ZIPs, served by different carrier terminals, with different transit times and charges.
The county places a location on the map. Two ZIP codes with the same city name can sit in different counties, and a delivery outside a carrier’s direct service area can carry an extended-delivery charge. Checking the county helps you spot a remote location before you book.
- See the whole city: every ZIP code a city spans, in one list, with its county.
- Check coverage: see which county a delivery falls in before you compare carriers.
- Quote accurately: exact ZIP codes define the lane, the first thing a carrier prices.
Using the lookup
- Type the city as it appears in a mailing address. “St. Louis” and “Saint Louis” both work.
- Choose the state. Once it is chosen, the city field suggests every city in that state as you type.
- Or type the city and state together, such as “Atlanta, GA”, and the state is picked for you.
- Not finding a small town? Its mail may route through a nearby postal city. Try the nearest larger city, or check a single ZIP code with the ZIP code lookup.
